EXHIBIT: Shifting the Focus: Stories of Homelessness with Our Animals

A community-based participatory research project featuring photographs, stories, and data from people experiencing homelessness in Seattle to understand how the bonds with their animals act as both a benefit and a barrier in their lives.

A collaboration between the University of Washington’s Center for One Health Research, School of Law, School of Social Work, and School of Nursing, this project focuses on the interdependent health and social needs of people experiencing homelessness and their animals in order to close service delivery gaps and help create policy and legal reform solutions.

Currently on exhibit at the University of Washington School of Social Work for the spring quarter (March 28 - June 3, 2022)

Opening Reception:
Monday, March 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
