Stay Safe During National Safety Month
Patient safety has been recognized as a national concern by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. To assist in their efforts to improve quality of care and reduce adverse medical events in health care settings, we have put together a list of helpful resources for improving patient safety in professional practice. Visit our Patient Safety Guide to learn more about reducing medical errors in a clinical setting.
And if you want to learn more about illness and injury prevention outside of clinical settings, consider attending the 2019 Western Agriculture Safety and Health Conference which is being held August 7-9th on the UW Seattle Campus. Registration is now open.
