In 2018, the TRAIL space will be outfitted with Virtual Reality equipment.
We will offer an HTC Vive and an Oculus Rift headset, driven by an nVidia GeForce 1080 in an MSI Titan laptop. The TRAIL Idea Incubator Space has the open space needed to use the Vive’s room-scale capabilities to the fullest.
Are you developing a medical application with VR support that needs a test lab? Do you have medical imaging data you want to explore? We are working with partners in VR software development, radiological imaging and model construction, and UW Medicine surgical teams.
If you are interested in this technology and would like to know more, or if you would like to reserve our lab and use our hardware for your medical software development or research, reserve this service.
