UW Three Minute Thesis Competition (In-person)
Please join The Graduate School and UW Libraries Open & Interdisciplinary Research Support for this spring event. Watch master's and doctoral graduate students from all three UW campuses present their capstones or research in just 3 minutes to vie for cash prizes. In front of a general audience and a panel of esteemed judges, graduate student speakers will compete using only one static slide each in their presentations. The theme this year is, Impact -- How does your graduate research demonstrate impact for the public good?
It's Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Doors open at 3:30pm and the event starts promptly at 4:00pm. This is an in-person event in HUB Lyceum, UW Seattle Campus.
